Argentine Tango was born in the late 1800's in Buenos Aires, and has been changing and evolving ever since. It is a beautiful dance form that provides endless opportunity for improvisation and playfulness.
April Series (4/4 - 4/25 2017): Playing with the Feet

Everyone will learn to lead and follow.
No need to bring partners, we switch regularly.
7:00-8:00 Fundamentals- Playing with the Feet
Tango is all about playing with the feet. We'll show you what you can do with yours and how to play with your partner's. We'll cover rhythm, crossing, sandwiches and adornments. This series is ideal for new dancers, or experienced dancers working on fundamentals, or the other role.
8:00-9:00 Fundamentals- Practica
Stay for the practice led by some of the advanced students. We will review the material from the first class, and other tango basics.
8:00-9:00 Intermediate+ - Linear Boleos!!:
Fancy kicks to impress. How do they happen? As follows we'll learn how to give up control of our free leg, as leads we'll learn how to play with it. Spice up your social dancing. May will be rotational boleos..
