Argentine Tango
Argentine Tango was born in the late 1800's in Buenos Aires, and has been changing and evolving ever since. It is a beautiful dance form that provides endless opportunity for improvisation and playfulness.
July Series (7/1 - 7/29 2025): Giros and Boleos *No Event 7/15

Everyone will learn to lead and follow.
No need to bring partners, we switch regularly.
7:00-8:00 Fundamentals- All About Turns:
Introduction to the basic turns in tango. Move smoothy around the floor, in and out of turns, from walking and ochos. This series is ideal for new dancers, or experienced dancers working on fundamentals, or the other role.
8:00-9:00 Fundamentals- Practica
Stay for the practice led by some of the advanced students. We will review the material from the first class, and other tango basics.
8:00-9:00 Intermediate+ - Boleos 2:
Fancy kicks to impress. How do they happen? Learn to play with your free leg, and spice up your social dancing. We will finish rotational boleos and start on linear ones.
August Series starts 8/5/25 TBA
Milonga/Practica:
9:00-11:00 -get your fix of alternative and classical music
-various DJ's
-large wooden floor to try your biggest
and wildest moves!
-now with air conditioning!! :o)
Cost: July series (4 classes)- $40 ; students $32
drop-in before 9 (for 1 or both classes)- $12; students $10
drop-in after 9- $5; students $3
