Argentine Tango was born in the late 1800's in Buenos Aires, and has been changing and evolving ever since. It is a beautiful dance form that provides endless opportunity for improvisation and playfulness.

September Series (9/6 - 9/27 2011): Crosses and Turns

Progressive series with Leslie Gordon

Everyone will learn to lead and follow.

7:00-8:00 Fundamentals Intensivo- Crosses and Ochos:

The cross is one of the most elegant and ofter used moves in tango. We will learn different ways to dance it with flair from walking and ochos. This series is ideal for new dancers, or experienced dancers wanting to review the basics.

8:00-9:00 Fundamentals- Practica

Stay for the practice led by some of the advanced students. We will review the material from the first class, and othe tango basics.

8:00-9:00 Intermediate+ - Exquisite Turns

One of the signs of experienced dancers is effortless turns. We will cover all the varieties of turns, and expand your repertoire, starting from basic turns. Develop your turn technique for elegance and navigation.
