Argentine Tango
Argentine Tango was born in the late 1800's in Buenos Aires, and has been changing and evolving ever since. It is a beautiful dance form that provides endless opportunity for improvisation and playfulness.
November- December Series (11/1 - 12/13 2011):

Everyone will learn to lead and follow.
7:00-8:00 Fundamentals Intensivo- Playing With The Feet:
Changing feet, and adding adornments are all ways to flirt with your feet in tango.. We'll be learning that standard patterns, and creating your own personal ones. This series is ideal for new dancers, or experienced dancers working on fundamentals.
8:00-9:00 Fundamentals- Practica
Stay for the practice led by some of the advanced students. We will review the material from the first class, and othe tango basics.
8:00-9:00 Intermediate+ - Ganchos
These are the fancy kicks that you've seen in the tango shows. Learn to do them on the social dance floor to impress and intimidate. We will cover ganchos for both follows and leads.
