Argentine Tango

Argentine Tango was born in the late 1800's in Buenos Aires, and has been changing and evolving ever since. It is a beautiful dance form that provides endless opportunity for improvisation and playfulness.

January Series (1/6-1/27 2015):
Progressive series with Leslie Gordon
Everyone will learn to lead and follow.
No need to bring partners, we switch regularly.

7:00-8:00  Fundamentals-  Tango Turns 101:

Get started with turns in tango. They're both incredibly useful and fun. This is the perfect starting class. We will get you comfortable with the basics and ready to go out and enjoy dancing. Also good for experienced dancers working on fundamentals, or the other role.

8:00-9:00  Fundamentals- Practica

Stay for the practice led by some of the advanced students. We will review the material from the first class, and other tango basics.

8:00-9:00  Intermediate+ - Sweet Sweeps:

Take "playing with the feet" to the next level. We'll learn sweeps for both leads and follows, and discover how they can be used to smoothly link together different steps..

What is my dance level?
